Market Pulse — The Whole Market, Before the Chart
Market Pulse is the first tab on each market: what the largest names did, which sectors led, how broad the move was, and on crypto the Fear & Greed Index and the Bitcoin network, every figure with the time it was read and a reason when a feed fails.
Frequently asked
What does Market Pulse show on stocks?
A map of the 20 largest US companies, each tile sized by market cap and coloured by the session's move; their combined cap and its move beside the S&P 500, how many of the 20 rose, and the VIX; the 11 S&P 500 sector funds from best to worst; and the session's gainers and decliners among those 20. Each figure carries the time it was read.
What does Market Pulse show on crypto?
A map of the 20 largest coins the platform analyses, sized by market cap and coloured by the 24-hour move on the perpetual market; the 250 largest coins' combined cap, its 24-hour change and volume, with Bitcoin's and Ether's shares; the Crypto Fear & Greed Index with its own word and date; the gainers and decliners of the 20; and a Bitcoin network card.
Why are the map tiles not in proportion to market cap?
A tile's area grows with the square root of the market cap, so the largest names do not leave the smaller ones as slivers too small to label. Larger caps still get larger tiles, ordered largest first.
What is on the Bitcoin network card?
The hash rate as a 7-day average, because one day's figure swings about 8% from block luck alone; that average against the previous 7 days, with how far two such averages differ from luck; the next difficulty retarget estimate; difficulty, mempool and fees, each with its time. An AI note runs only when you ask, from your plan's AI credits.
What happens when a feed fails?
The figure says unavailable and why. Nothing is filled in with a default or an old number without saying so, and a company or coin without a reported cap is listed under the map with the reason instead of being sized.
Which plan includes it?
Market Pulse is a tab on each market's analysis page: Stock Pro has the stock tab, Crypto Pro the crypto tab, and the Bundle both, with a 7-day trial that needs no card. See the pricing page for current rates.
