Fibonacci Retracement & Extension — Auto-Anchored Levels
Stop hunting swing pivots and dragging the Fib tool across your chart. CoreNova auto-anchors Fibonacci retracement and extension levels from the most relevant pivots and shows the level price is testing on your latest analysis.
Frequently asked
How does the auto-anchoring pick the "right" swing?
CoreNova's pivot detector runs multi-window local-extrema detection (5–20 bar windows) with a volatility threshold to filter noise; on stocks, lookbacks scale with the timeframe. The most significant recent swing high → low pair is the anchor. The Fibonacci tool's Overview tab shows the exact swing high and low the levels are drawn from.
What if the market structure shifts to a different swing?
The engine auto-anchors from the most structurally significant swings and re-anchors as market structure shifts, so the levels track the current structure. Open the Fibonacci tool's Overview tab to see the exact pivots the current levels are anchored to.
Do you handle Fibonacci time zones, fans, and arcs too?
Retracements and extensions are the primary outputs and feed the consensus verdict, and Fibonacci time projections are auto-generated too. Fans and arcs are not in the output today — they're less commonly used and the time savings vs manual setup are smaller. If there's demand we'll add them.
