What's the difference between technical indicators and frameworks?
Indicators measure things — RSI measures momentum, ATR measures volatility. They don't independently tell you what to do. Frameworks have a thesis: Wyckoff says markets cycle through accumulation → markup → distribution → markdown; Elliott Wave says price moves in 5-wave impulses and 3-wave corrections. The 9 frameworks read price and volume structure to produce a directional verdict; the AI Trade Strategist and Cross-Tool Consensus then synthesize the indicator readings alongside those verdicts. Indicators are the primitives; frameworks are the methodologies.
Do I need to know all 50+ indicators?

Which indicators are most important for day trading?
For intraday: VWAP (the institutional average — most algorithms anchor here), Bollinger Band squeezes for breakout setups, and RSI on the 5m/15m for short-term overbought/oversold. ADX 25+ tells you whether the trend is real or chop. CoreNova surfaces these automatically when the 5m or 15m timeframe is showing strong day-trading setups.
Are these the standard textbook formulas?
Yes. RSI is Welles Wilder's original 14-period formula. MACD is the standard 12/26/9. ADX uses Wilder's smoothing. Bollinger Bands are the standard 20-period, 2-standard-deviation construction. We don't use proprietary tweaked indicators — they're the textbook formulas every trader knows, just calculated and interpreted at scale.
Can I see the raw indicator values, or just the AI interpretation?
